Front Desk Staff - currently hiring for Osborne Park
We’re now hiring for a number of Front Desk positions across the following Portside Locations:
Osborne Park
The position will suit motivated, friendly and passionate climbers looking to join our team. If you are a climber and you enjoy an active work environment, this could be the perfect job for you!
Must-Haves:
- Interest in and care for our climbing community
- Must be over 18
- Must have or be keen to obtain: RSA, Approved Managers, Working with Children’s Check, First Aid
Schedule and Availability:
- Flexible weekend availability is highly valued.

Osborne Park – 2x Positions Open. Weekend availability is a MUST
– 20-30 hours a week
– 15-25 hours a week
Desirables:
- Experience in a fast-paced work environment (e.g. hospitality)
- Climbing experience
- Retail experience
- Longevity and the ability to grow with the team

Youth Coaching Staff – Expressions of Interest
Love working with kids and passionate about climbing? Join our team and help shape the next generation of climbers. You’ll lead sessions, mentor junior coaches, and create a fun, supportive space for young people to grow on and off the wall.
SCHEDULE
- Joondalup / Willetton Schedule
- Tuesdays, Thursdays – 3:30pm – 7:15pm
Saturdays – 7:30am – 12:30pm
Sundays – 7:30am – 10:30am
- O’Connor / Osborne Park Schedule
- Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays – 2pm – 7:15pm
Saturdays – 7:30am – 11:00am
Sundays – 7:30am – 10:30am
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coaching Portside youth
- Training and working with young climbers 4-17 years old
ESSENTIALS
- Working With Children check
- 2 years minimum climbing experience
JL hire – must also be able to get to Osborne Park occasionally
DESIRABLES
- Previous coaching experience is preferred, but training will be provided on the job
Competition climbing experience is highly valued
