Each round you climb and submit scores = 1 raffle entry.

The raffle will be drawn at the end of Winter Boulder League—so the more you climb, the better your chances.
No podium? No worries. You might still walk away with some solid gear.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is Winter Boulder League?
A casual and fun-focused comp composed of four 9-day rounds spanning across two and a half months. Competitors can compare their individual scores against their friends, in addition to competing in teams of 4.
This year, we’ve changed things up a bit – see the “what’s changed” tab at the bottom for updates
How does the competition work?
Finish a climb = 5 points
Finish a climb on your first go (flash) = +1 bonus point
Turn your scoresheet in by 7pm on the last day of each round to submit your scores, and see how you stack up!
How do I use the digital scorecard?
- First, make sure you have signed up for Solo or Team using the links on our website.
- To access the scoresheet, click the “Scoresheet” link above and fill out your details and your scores as you go.
- Hit “Save” to save your scores. You can hit “Save” as many times as you like before the submission date to save your scores.
- You will receive an email with a link to access your saved scoresheet, and will receive an email each time you “Save” the scoresheet with a link to access the scoresheet. You can return to the scoresheet at a later time (before the final submission date of each round), so there is no need to create a new sheet every time.
- Hit “Submit” to submit your final score! Don’t worry, you can still return to this after you have submitted it as long as it is before the final submission date of each round.
Is it a free event?
Registration is free. However, regular Portside Boulders entry fees still apply.
How do I sign-up for a team?
There will also be a prize for the best team name, so get creative!
I’m a beginner, can I still sign up?
Absolutely! There are skill-based categories, so round up a few more beginner climber friends and compete against one another.
What's changed?
- We’ve got a 4th location!
- No Open Days
- 3 Categories rather than 4
- Register on the first day rather than beforehand
- Prizes will be awarded from a pool of raffle prizes
- Prizes awarded just for showing up
