Help youth climbers get to worlds!
One of our youth climbers, Mella Gannon, is heading to the IFSC Youth World Championships in Helsinki!
The Portside Youth Competition Access Fund aims to support young Portside climbers’ access to the competition circuit both nationally and internationally.
This year, with the support of our community (you!), we’ve already been able to use $3200 of donations to send our team (Sophie, Esther and Morgan Kingwell, Kasper Kneer and Mella Gannon) to IFSC Youth Nationals in Ballina, and now Mella is heading to the world stage.
To support the Portside Youth Competition Access Fund, donate this July and go in the draw to win:
– A private coaching pack from Axis Coaching (Valued at $225 each. 4 to win!)
– A great range of merch (tees, hats, stickers and more)
Every $10 = 1 entry
All funds go directly to supporting young climbers – no admin fees, just volunteers doing the work.
Entries close July 31st. Winners drawn August 1.Â
More about Portside’s
Youth Access Fund
100% of your donation will go towards this goal with all associated administrative labour being undertaken by volunteers!
The fund has two main sources of contribution:
1. Donations made to Portside Boulders by members/casuals during various competition and/or fund raising events.
2. Donations made by members, casual climbers or other people to the fund directly.
We also have local businesses who hold stalls at our events and offer all proceedings to our Youth Access Fund.
So your contribution matters!
